About

Pocket Thumb started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other links to weird little games nobody had heard of. At some point the links turned into notes, the notes turned into write-ups, and here we are.

We only cover games we've actually installed and played. No press releases copied word for word, no scores handed out after five minutes with a trailer. If a game bored us by day two, we say so.

What we look for is simple: does it respect your time, does it feel good under your thumb, and is there one idea in there that makes it worth a download. Genre doesn't matter much to us. A tiny racing game and a sprawling RPG get the same honest treatment.

The site is small on purpose. We'd rather write ten careful reviews a month than fifty rushed ones.
