Tideborne Command

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Tideborne Command drops you in charge of a handful of ships trying to hold a scattered chain of islands. It's a slower, thinkier kind of strategy — you plan routes, manage supplies, and decide which islands are worth defending when you can't be everywhere at once.

The touch controls surprised me. Dragging to set movement paths and tapping to assign roles felt natural within minutes, and the map zooms cleanly so you never lose track of your fleet. Weather and tides actually change how fights play out, which forces you to adapt instead of memorizing one build.

It asks for patience. If you want constant action this isn't it. But if you like reading a map and making the hard call, Tideborne Command delivers a proper strategy brain-workout on a phone.
